Your bridal portraits are a distinctly southern tradition. What was once used primarily as a society announcement is now also used as an opportunity to see yourself completely
as a bride before the wedding day. This bridal experience is typically shared with one to three others like your mother, maid and/or matron of honor, sister or best friend. It creates a memory during your engagement season separate from the wedding.

Having your hair and makeup done builds rapport with the hair and makeup artist(s) and also allows a trial run of your overall look. You get to experiment with how you wear your dress, veil, hair, makeup, shoes, jewelry, etc. all together, and ultimately decide on the perfect look.
