Setting the Table with Juliska

By Kelcy Christy

When setting the table for a spring soirée, the Juliska “Country Estate” pattern in delft blue provides the perfect base for a joyous celebration. The traditional dinnerware pattern in a timeless color palette of blue and white will elevate any tablescape – whether it’s adorning the table for a laid-back dinner party or an opulent black-tie fête.

For a pretty spring table design, layer a bright marble table with woven placemats in natural materials for an organic touch. Add the elegant blue-and-white dinnerware and top with a monogrammed napkin featuring royal blue embroidery. Complete each guest’s place setting with cobalt glassware, mixed-metal flatware, and a calligraphed place card.

A springtime table wouldn’t be complete without fresh flowers. Embellish your spring tablescape with cork vessels and chinoiserie-style ginger jars filled with peonies in punchy shades of pale pink, peach, coral, and burgundy. Don’t forget dessert! A light cake decorated with buttercream frosting atop a cake stand in the traditional blue-and-white pattern is the ideal choice for a springtime celebration at home or in the garden.
