In an evening of elegance and exuberance alike, Carey and David became The Lawrences.
Carey was a sight to behold in her strapless Caroline Castigliano gown. She looked absolutely angelic, with her hair swept into a low bun and her gown’s guipure lace bodice. With tidy lines and a clean, white crepe, her dress was the perfect complement to the aesthetic of the evening.
All sides of the ceremony space at the Ritz-Carlton were draped in silver, with bright white phalaenopsis orchids cascading from layers of hydrangeas and tulips. The floral arch at the altar also consisted of all white blooms. Carey’s mother and father both walked her down the aisle, to reflect the role that both of them played in her upbringing.
Once flipped, the Ritz ballroom maintained silver as the main throughline and tone. Overall, the visual design of this wedding was crisp, clean and contemporary. Towering calla lilies added drama to the head table, as the top tier of various layers of monobloom bunches.
Carey and David’s french bulldog Louis was a highlight of the event. Between making a guest appearance for post-ceremony portraits and being the namesake of the late night signature cocktail, the “Lou-tini”, this beloved, four-legged fur ball was rightfully acknowledged!
After an evening with all of their loved ones gathered in one beautiful place, Carey and David were showered with well-wishes and confetti as they exited the Ritz, man and wife.
