Historic Holiday at Arlington Hall

Project Description

Since 1939, Arlington Hall has been a staple of Dallas. Thus, the historic building was the ideal location for an elegant holiday event. Guests were welcomed to the stately site with swirling garlands and bright red bows adorning the exquisite columns. The interior was decorated with colorful arrangements of roses, lilies, anemones, astilbe, and more blooms in shades of ivory, peach, lavender, and burgundy. A show-stopping confection featuring an ornate design made to look like a castle with wreaths, icicles, and glittering flag towers was also on display.

Cocktails were served in a clear-top tent off the stunning venue’s light-wrapped columns offering views of the impeccable grounds. A large lantern was suspended from the center, with garlands extending to the corners. Attendees sipped libations served from a four-sided bar featuring mirror-and-gold panels and hedge risers in each corner topped with blossoms and bullion-hued lamps. Lounge areas showcasing either metallic chairs in gold and silver or tufted banquette seating in emerald green provided a relaxing space for revelers.

Guests then made their way into the charming hall for the dinner service. The ballroom was filled with round tables strewn with deep-hued linens and topped with towering centerpieces atop tree-branch risers. Each attendee’s place setting showcased gilt accents, laser-cut calligraphy place cards, and classic ornaments. A fireplace was decorated with verdure and a beautiful bullion-hued mirror, and the front of the room served as a stage for the pianist, who performed into the night amidst Christmas trees with twinkling lights and red poinsettias.
