Carolina and Richmond’s story began effortlessly, thanks to mutual friends who nudged them together. A quick introduction became easy conversation, then regular dates, and soon both families sensed the connection was something lasting.
Wedding planning turned into a true mother-daughter project. The Campbells spoke constantly, dreaming and refining a day rooted in classic elegance, warmth, fun, and intentional hospitality for out of town guests. The invitation suite set the tone, with its vine-inspired motif guiding Three Branches as they designed a ceremony flower arch of organic, whimsical greenery that felt both timeless and unique.
Her dress came together just as naturally. During Christmas in Dallas, Carolina found her gown at Neiman Marcus with her sister, mother, and grandmother. The moment she stepped into it, everyone agreed she looked like the most beautiful version of herself. Even sweeter, she transformed her mother’s wedding dress into a charming mini for her second look, complete with a bow made from the original fabric.
Wedding weekend unfolded across beloved Dallas spots: a bridal luncheon at Lounge 31, a welcome dinner at The Mansion, and a bright October wedding day with perfect weather. Carolina spent the morning getting ready at home surrounded by her closest friends, aunts, grandmother, and both mothers- a lively, love filled start that felt intimate and unforgettable.
The ceremony was deeply special, and when Carolina and Richmond walked out of the church to their wedding party’s cheers, that was the moment it felt real: they were married. Richmond especially cherished the intentional moments carved out just for the two of them: their first look, a private dinner, staying side by side through cocktail hour and the reception.
Their reception at Brook Hollow was spectacular, with a packed dance floor from the moment Party on the Moon began. Carolina spent most of the night dancing: on the floor, on stage, surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Campbell, a devoted live music fan, joined her often. The joy was palpable in every image.
A favorite personal touch was the Groom’s Cake, a whimsical tennis themed design celebrating Richmond’s lifelong love of the sport, topped with “The Perfect Match.” Their first dance to James Taylor was sweet and effortless, shaped by a few summer lessons that helped them settle into movements that felt natural.
Now back in Nashville, the newlyweds are savoring slow, simple routines together. They scroll through their gallery often, still moved by the emotion captured. As Mrs. Campbell said, “You don’t really appreciate the power of great photography until the wedding is over. Those photos bring everything back so vividly time and time again.”
