The morning of Sydney and Peter’s wedding was the perfect blend of tradition, glamour, and paying homage to their family and loved ones. The true magic came to life when guests were used inside Arlington Hall for cocktail hour, and the ceremony tent became the reception venue of their dreams!
The reception tent was a masterpiece of soft structure and immersive design. A sweeping canopy of neutral draping cascaded from the ceiling in delicate folds, softening the architecture of the tent and giving the entire space a warm, luminous glow. Suspended chandeliers added an elegant sparkle overhead while sculptural calla lilies and lush white floral arrangements filled the room with texture and movement. Long tables were dressed in crisp linens and layered with candlelight, reflecting subtly against the drapes to create an intimate, romantic atmosphere despite the scale of the space. Every detail felt intentionally composed, from the architectural florals framing the dance floor to the custom touches like monogrammed butter and branded desserts.
The personal details didn’t stop there though! One of the sweetest personal touches of the entire weekend was the presence of their beloved dog, Scotty. Although he was not there in person, he made numerous appearances throughout the celebration. He topped the groom’s cake, inspired a signature drink called the “Scottie-Tini”, and appeared on custom drink stirrers and napkins.
The celebration continued into a disco inspired after party complete with confetti stamped with their monogram, disco ball dancers, and custom disco helmets that Sydney’s mom spent months secretly sourcing. Despite claiming he is not a dancer, Peter spent most of the evening on the dance floor, surrounded by family and friends. Guests enjoyed branded churros and s’mores, two of Sydney’s favorite desserts, as well as the ultimate late night treat, an In N Out truck that delighted everyone before the couple made a discreet Irish exit.
When asked to describe her wedding in one word, Sydney chose “magical”. It was the fulfillment of her princess dreams, made even more meaningful by “having all of our friends and families in the same room, all together for us, was what made the night feel so special.”
