Some places just simply are part of your story.
For Mary Hannah, Seaside had been a beloved part of life long before it became the backdrop for her wedding day. Growing up along Florida’s Gulf Coast, she spent countless celebrations there and always dreamed of exchanging vows in the iconic Seaside Chapel. When the time came to plan her wedding to Ricky, the decision felt effortless.
“I always loved Seaside,” Mary Hannah shared. “It was my favorite part of 30A growing up. I wanted the ceremony to be in a church that was important to me, and the chapel is just the prettiest one out there.”
Inspired by the natural beauty of the coast, the couple envisioned a celebration that felt timeless, elegant, and distinctly Seaside. A palette of soft blues and whites, lush hydrangeas, and meaningful family heirlooms created a wedding weekend that felt both refined and deeply personal. Mary Hannah wore a classic Monique Lhuillier gown, paired with sapphire earrings borrowed from her aunt and a getting-ready robe crafted from her mother’s wedding dress.
Inside the chapel, guests were welcomed by live strings and abundant florals framing the altar, while a family friend officiated the heartfelt ceremony. Following portraits on the beach beneath soft coastal skies, guests gathered at the Lyceum Lawn for a reception that perfectly captured the charm of Seaside. From custom details handcrafted by Mary Hannah’s father, to a lively New Orleans band that kept the dance floor full all evening, every element felt intentional and personal.
“It was just a great day,” Mary Hannah reflected. “Everything came together and felt very intentional.”
Yet beyond the beautiful details, what made the day unforgettable was the feeling woven throughout it all. Surrounded by family, lifelong friends, and the place that had shaped so many cherished memories, Mary Hannah and Ricky began their next chapter exactly where it was meant to begin.
