When planning his 30th birthday party, John and his wife Brittany worked with talented event professionals to create a beautiful atmosphere to celebrate the special milestone. They invited 24 close friends for a memorable seated dinner party at The Club Room at Campisi’s Egyptian Restaurant on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
One long table was surrounded by chairs, and the man of honor found his seat in the center. The table was cloaked with a beautiful linen by BBJ Linen and topped with matte plateware, metallic flatware, and cut-crystal goblets from Top Tier Event Rentals. Each guest received a monogrammed menu card and place card with calligraphy by Calligraphic Arts. Gorgeous towering taper candles made possible by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Heath Alan Ray of Jackson Durham Events provided a warm, ambient glow for the festivities.

Following an Italian menu featuring chicken and eggplant parmigiana, homemade lasagna and ravioli, and grilled salmon, loved ones savored slices of a unique birthday cake designed by Fancy Cakes by Lauren to look just like John and Brittany’s dog Molly. “I am so grateful for every person that’s in these pictures and that made them possible,” says John. “Thank you for how you make this life sweeter, greater, and happier.”
