The morning of August 17, 2019, Leslie Klein’s bridesmaids slipped into white Lela Rose gowns at the Dallas Country Club. They each picked up delicate and long baby’s breath bouquets that mirrored the same playful delicacy accessorizing the bride—white statement earrings finishing Leslie’s bridal look. Leslie and maids gathered under the DCC arch for portraits, a vision of well-done minimalism, and set the tone for the remainder of the beautiful wedding day.
Perkins Chapel fit this same aesthetic with it’s quintessential chapel columns, steeple, and white doors that open to a long aisle ending at the alter, with a teary Ben Blanchat awaiting his bride. As she walked the aisle, Leslie was followed by the train of the veil which belonged to her mother—a beautiful something borrowed. The ceremony to first kiss occurred quickly, and the newlyweds burst through the chapel doors with overwhelming joy!
The merriment and cheer only grew as the wedding party and guests traveled from Perkins Chapel to the Dallas Country Club to dine and celebrate. Inside the ballroom, Garden Gate placed intertwining white and green florals flowing high in glass containers on each table. A pastel yellow bridal cake decorated the foyer in front of the fireplace, which was now also decorated with the baby’s breath bouquets sitting fresh in mint julep silver cups. Jordan Kahn Orchestra took the merriment to another level and guests danced the night away until the grand exit. As Ben and Leslie hopped down the DCC steps covered in rose petals, guests waved and our team took their final shots to end a lovely wedding day.
