On one fine day last February, we documented the beautiful moment Clay Mauldin asked Kalize Bauer to be his wife at the Dallas Aroboretum! In excitement and anticipation for next February when the couple says ‘I do’, we wanted to share with you their beautiful engagement portraits taken right where that beautiful proposal took place.
It’s no mystery the Dallas Arboretum is a blooming feast for the eyes in every season. Since Clay proposed at the Arboretum’s Orchid Hollow Garden, the destination provided a timeless backdrop for the newly engaged couple to commemorate their engagement season. Between the blooms, Kalize and Clay walked and laughed amongst the gardens with only eyes for the other—except for when their precious pup Birdie came along! She stole the show alongside the soon-to-be family. If their engagement portraits are any indicator, next February will be quite the joyous occasion!
