As much as we love a laid-out shot list there’s something about those candid moments that are unlike anything else. Those perfectly unplanned moments that result in a picture perfect scene are some of the images that are treasured most dearly for years and years to come. Some shots you can anticipate for your photographer to capture and we consider these to be “shot list staples,” but some instances are completely spontaneous and taken on a whim! We truly have thousands of these images that we could include, but have done our best to narrow it down to a handful of our favorites to share.
The authenticity behind these pictures capture pure delight and surprise. Like Anna Gray’s bright smile as she sweetly swayed with her husband Will Gray during their first dance and Leslie Klein hugging on tight to her new husband Ben Blachant minutes after saying “I do.” The genuine reactions that are photographed by our photographers always stand out to me as being some of the most special, because they are little previews into some of the more intimate parts of the day that will forever remain unique to the wedding in which they were taken.
