As I write this, it’s twenty-seven degrees outside. Whispers of snow flurries have been falling surreptitiously from the sky all week and I don’t know if I have ever been more ready for spring at this moment! Being a true Texas girl, I crave warm, sunny weather. The world just seems brighter and happier in the warmer months and feels revitalized after the cold dreariness that winter often brings.
With spring on the horizon, I already see the color that accompanies it. Bright cerulean blue skies, vibrant colored blossoms popping up in the parks and in gardens, and lush green grass growing back after the cold months! Spring possesses a beauty that is truly unparalleled to the other seasons.
Which is why it is one of our favorites when it comes to shooting engagement portraits! Spring provides the perfect backdrop for these sessions because of the beauty that it so intrinsically holds. With warmer temps allowing for cute sundresses too, these images are always bright cheerful which is a refreshing return to the liveliness that comes along when Spring decides to arrive again.
