When a bride has a smile like Emily’s, it makes the whole wedding day experience such a joy.
Emily wore her mother’s ivory lace veil with her Romona Keveza, pearl-studded dress as she descended the stairs of The Driskill hotel to share a first look with her (very) soon-to-be husband, Kevin. Their smiles were as wide as the Texas Hill Country as they shared a few somber moments alone.
The smiles on their faces didn’t fade an ounce as they exchanged their sacred vows at the Episcopal Church of Good Shepherd. Once officially deemed Mr. and Mrs. Clock, the two shared a kiss and welcomed well wishes from their loved ones before hopping into their ceremony getaway car, a dual-toned aegean blue Rolls Royce.
David Kurio Designs dressed The Driskill in magnanimous, dynamic floral arrangements. From top to bottom, it was visually transformed. Rambunctious clusters of white blooms complemented full walls of fearless corals. Tied together with teeming streams of greenery, this true metamorphosis of the historic Austin hotel was one for the books.
In keeping with the deep Austin roots of the evening, Amy’s Ice Creams stopped by the reception to serve up sundaes. Between the Amy’s and the bride and groom’s cakes, it’s safe to say there was not a sweet tooth in the building left unsatiated.
Emily’s gown had removable cap-sleeves, making for the chicest “two for one” day to night look, especially when coupled with a late-night ponytail, making her and Kevin’s grand exit even more of a breeze.
The couple was showered with white rose petals as they made their way out of the wedding reception they’d dreamed of together for so long. Sat atop the reclined rooftop of a steel blue vintage convertible, the newly wed Clocks waved their goodbyes! A joyful night in Austin, we’re wishing all the best to Emily and Kevin Clock!
