“We grew up in Dallas. He went to Jesuit and I went to Ursuline for high school and we were great friends. We both also went to UT Austin for college and were close friends! We started dating during our senior year of college.” We had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Austin’s engagement in December of 2021. Days before Christmas, Austin got down on one knee at the Goar Park gazebo. After the proposal, they celebrated at the Piot family’s home with close family and friends.
Flashing forward to March 4th, 2023, Lauren and Austin said “I do” at Christ the King church. Following the ceremony, guests gathered at Arlington Hall to celebrate the DeLaRosas. Fabulous Fete designed a beautiful reception inside a transparent tent on the lawn of Arlington Hall. Inside, modern flowers designed by Bella Flora covered the tables, the cake, the custom dance floor and even hanging from the ceiling! A real show stopper was the ceiling of suspended tulips above the dance floor, the perfect setting for a first dance! The DeLaRosas treated guests to cocktails at their University of Texas themed bar. The majority of Lauren and Austin’s evening was spent dancing on stage or in the middle of the dance floor with their loved ones. For the later portion of the evening, Lauren added a feather shawl just in time for their private last dance. It was an incredible night dancing with the DeLaRosas! We are so glad we got to celebrate with y’all!
