Ceremony Gown: Reem Acra New York City, NY
Reception Gown: Oscar de La Renta from Casa de Novia Bridal in Houston, Texas
For her wedding, Paige wore a custom Reem Acra look from their Sweet Dreems Collection. Paige’s custom gown was a combination of the Celebration Gown and Feelings Gown noted as “sister gowns” by the designer. It is a strapless a-line ball gown featuring an inner layer of lace creating a beautiful, almost secret underskirt and floral embroidery draped over the gown. Hand-appliqued flowers drift from the sweetheart neckline down over the bodice and onto the outer skirt. Her pre-ceremony and ceremony looks combined a matching floral lace bolero with draping sleeves, as well as a ceremony cape with an extension of the floral embroidery from my gown. The cape drapes over the shoulders to create a beautiful sweeping train in place of traditionally initiating from the gown itself. My gown and toppers are complemented with a custom cathedral veil extending several feet, embroidered with “P&W 06-01-2024 Ever Thine, Ever Mine, Ever Ours,” worn with Loeffler Randall Dahlia white lace bow heels, and Tiffany’s pearl chain earrings.
Reception Gown:
Oscar de la Renta bridal Spring/Summer 2024 Look 2, a fitted trumpet off-shoulder cady gown with guipure mesh sleeves and half-loop bow customized as detachable. I had the skirt train removed so that the bow would become a mini “train” in itself with the option to be worn over one arm. This look was complemented with Christian Louboutin movida jane platforms and the same Tiffany’s pearl chain earrings.
