Savannah and Ben’s wedding was a luxurious Southern soirée filled with tradition and romance. A monochromatic garden of white, Arlington Hall was transformed into a space of iconic sophistication and timeless elegance.
After meeting at the University of Texas, Ben asked Savannah for a date several times before she said yes. It was the making of forever. He proposed during a family photo session in the Cayman Islands. With a ring selection guided by both mothers, the whirlwind of wedding planning began.
The couple’s rehearsal dinner at The Crescent Club was steeped in family ties, as Savannah’s parents and older brother had both celebrated their own wedding eves there. Planned by Ben’s mother, the evening featured custom guest napkins, cocktails, and lush florals, setting an elegant tone for the wedding.
On her wedding morning, Savannah relished a few moments of reading her Bible and prayer over her future marriage. Then, she prepared for the ceremony ahead, basking in the love and support of the most important women in her life.
Just hours later, guests gasped as ten violins and a grand piano accompanied Savannah walking down the aisle in Arlington Hall to a worship song, “Goodness of God.” Arlington hall was bathed in floor to ceiling white, all at once opulent and refined. Savannah’s groom awaited her under a towering wall of greenery, ready to say, “I do.”
After the ceremony, Savannah and Ben stole away for a private dinner before enjoying a live band and robust drink menu, spicy skinny margaritas, old-fashioneds, espresso martinis, and a specialty “G Rock”. With a 400-person guest list of beloved friends and family, the night unfolded into a high-energy celebration full of laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments.
Savannah wore an off-the-shoulder Stanley Korshak gown, switching to Oscar de la Renta for the after party, adorned in her mother’s jewelry. A half-swept updo showed off her beaming smile. Savannah and her mother share a beautiful bond that added even more meaning to the day. The quiet moments they spent together as she got ready are ones Savannah will always hold close. Their grace, love, and connection brought an unforgettable warmth to every part of the celebration.
That same sense of intention and elegance carried through to Lisa’s own look for the day. As the mother of the bride, Lisa played a key role in the planning process and her fashion background came to life in the creation of her custom gown. She teamed up with her former classmate, designer Michael Faircloth, to bring her vision to life. Collaborating closely, Michael sketched designs based on Lisa’s ideas, and together they selected fabrics and trims to create the perfect dress for the occasion. The result was a dress that was not only magnificent, but deeply personal.
The couple danced to the same tune her grandparents had on their wedding night, Elvis’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The dance floor also hosted Savannah and her father dancing to “Love Without End, Amen” by George Strait and Ben and his mother to a medley of “Stand By Me” and “I’m a Believer.”
A fireworks display, private dance and decorated getaway car were the perfect toppers to a magical evening. The duo headed to Saint Barthélemy for their honeymoon and joked that they immediately napped by the pool upon arrival. Wedded, relaxed, and ready for forever.
