A Festive Celebration with the Degenharts - John Cain Photography

With Christmas approaching, we are reflecting on one of our favorite holiday weddings from last season. Roslyn and Chris celebrated their marriage at the Renaissance Hotel following their ceremony at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. The ceremony space was elegantly decorated with twinkling evergreen trees in celebration of the holiday season.

Roslyn wore a beautiful Monique Ljuillier gown with long sleeves detailed with lace. The back of the dress had a unique V cut and an impressive train. She accessorized her look with a gold, flower hair piece and a bouquet of all white orchids.

Roslyn’s vision for her wedding was eclectic, gatsby-like, elegant and fun. Molly with Pop Parties perfectly executed Roslyn’s ideas for a lovely holiday affair. A special Christmas cocktail hour was held, with carolers and festive drinks filled with cranberries for guests to enjoy. Loved ones wrote well wishes on ornaments for the newlyweds that they hung on a tree. Menus in the shape of Christmas trees were placed on each place setting.

The evening exuded glitz, glamor and an elevated charm, especially with a special feature performance from Jordan Kahn. Band members played and sang from inside hanging golden picture frames.
