The Nasher Sculpture Center was a triumphant vision of blue and white at Allison and Alec’s perfectly polished wedding reception.
Allison’s Gracy Accad dress was an impeccable compliment to the organic nature of her venue. Her long sleeves were lined with floral embroidery and delicate vines, a pattern that continued throughout the bodice and full skirt. Her custom designed veil trailed behind her, with the same motif mimicked at the hem.
Branching Out Events dotted each table with elegant, sweeping arrangements of orchids and white roses. Escort cards were distributed as individual bud vases, providing a charming memento for each and every guest. The tepid, Texas November air was a flawless accent to the decadent outdoor decor, providing a welcoming space for all of Allison and Alec’s loved ones.
Allison and Alec’s cakes were without a doubt a standout feature, with Fancy Cakes by Lauren even recreating the couple’s golden retriever for the groom’s cake. Both stood stately in the Garden, attainable for an abundance of ogling.
Professor D took the stage, and the dance floor stayed busy all night. The newlywed Hegers were aptly celebrated under the canopy of twinkle lights. After a night of dancing, the two exited their reception through a cloud of confetti, and started their lives together as The Hegers! Wishing you all the best, Allison and Alec!
