Ali and Alex’s rehearsal dinner in Austin was the perfect blend of elegance and Texan barbecue spirit. The event set the stage for their wedding the next day, a fun kick-off celebration with family and friends!
Ali envisioned the theme of the rehearsal dinner as an “upscale backyard Texas BBQ,” that honored her husband Alex’s dream of a laid-back barbecue with her penchant for a more refined aesthetic. To strike a balance, the couple chose a local barbecue joint known for its authentic Texan charm. The venue kept the evening casual, contrasting against their black-tie wedding. Ali added, “Being in Austin, we also wanted to lean into the Texas country theme, so cowboy boots were encouraged!”
The décor by Jackson Durham brought Ali’s vision to life, transforming the space with vibrant yellow and green florals paired with sage green elements. “They brought in colorful florals and sage green décor, and it really brightened the space! It turned out amazing!” The result was a beautifully coordinated dinner that felt welcoming and festive.
For her rehearsal dinner, Ali chose a custom dress designed by Nardos Design. The dress, tailored to reflect her style, complemented the theme of the evening and went perfectly with her wardrobe for wedding weekend. Completing her look, Ali wore custom Miron Crosby cowboy boots, adding a personal touch of Texan flair.
The rehearsal dinner in Austin was the perfect prelude to their wedding the following day! We can’t wait to share more from Ali and Alex’s wedding day on the blog tomorrow!
