Emily George and Josh Holden were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. Emily wasn’t necessarily looking to date at the time, but when Josh called her out of the blue to ask her out she said “yes” to drinks and dinner. Little did she know what this simple “yes” would bring her.
Emily and Josh chose to hold a ceremony just for them to share with their family. They hoped their day would feel romantic and intimate, which they achieved by keeping a small guest list and hosting a dinner on the lawn of the Dallas Country Club. There they had a clear tent that housed a long table set for sixteen. This table was decorated with delicate sea-foam and pink floral china to create a European inspired tablescape.
Though the sidewalks of the country club were kissed by the rain, the couple was still able to take portraits on the golf course. A rainbow even greeted them as husband and wife as they made their way around the course to capture these first moments as newlyweds. The evening was spent in cheerful toasting of the newlyweds around a dinner under the glow of the twinkle lights. We feel so grateful to have been a part of this celebration with Emily and George and wish them the best as they endeavor this new chapter as husband and wife!
