Evyn and Myles were married in an intimate at home affair in Monroe, Louisiana. The bride’s parents hosted guests on the front lawn of their home for a beautiful late afternoon ceremony. Ivy sprawled the front of the home and was complimented by a floral arch of mauve, green and white. Evyn originally did not think she would be married in her hometown of Monroe, but said that now she could not imagine getting married anywhere else. “My parents brought me home to that house after I was born, so the memories made there in the last 26 years with family and friends molded me into the wife I became on my wedding day.”
Evyn walked down the aisle to the front of her home arm-in-arm with her father as a string quartet played “Country Roads”. Myles found the song and Evyn knew it was the perfect fit and a great surprise for her dad. After being pronounced husband and wife, it was time to celebrate in an outdoor soirée in the Caple’s backyard. Gold accent decor, chandeliers and a dance floor decorated the outdoor space. Lush green and white flower arrangements stood high above the tables of the tented reception space. From the ceiling hung greenery and twinkling lights. The space was elegant and inviting, perfect for a wedding at home.
The evening of celebration capped off with a tunnel of guests holding sparklers before Evyn and Myles took off in a getaway car. Congratulations to the Carrères!
