An intimate ceremony at Arlington Hall and a backyard dinner at home may not have been Katherine Jezek and Colin Moore’s first wedding plan, but what a beautiful wedding it was! Molly of Pop Parties worked closely with the couple as they needed to reimagine their plan A and plan B due to unprecedented circumstances around them. They moved forward with grace, and their wedding day was joyful, whimsical, and beautiful in every way!
The couple took their vows in front of close family and friends at Arlington Hall in front of the ivy-lined wall’s of the courtyard. They stood between two large urns which bloomed with pastel floral as they said their ‘I dos’. With venues at limited capacity, the couple decided to host their family for dinner back at home. This is Katherine and Colin’s first home together making this evening extra special! Tall pink tapered candles weaved throughout a floral runner set on top of a single long table dressed to the nines. The mother of the bride monogrammed the linens and Katherine designed the menu cards (and the entire invitation suite). The table was set in front of climbing roses on a trellis mimicking the courtyard ceremony and twinkle lights and chandeliers hung overhead. The bride, groom, and guests changed into casual but chic attire for the backyard celebration and spent the evening toasting the couple and sharing sweet stories as the sun set on the scene.
We cannot wait to join this couple early fall of this year as they celebrate again with a larger party! Their wedding reminds us of not only what really matters about a wedding (love and marriage), but the pearl that can come from unexpected interrupters.
