Annette and Payden first crossed paths at Texas Tech, where Payden’s fraternity was paired with Annette’s sorority for the annual homecoming festivities. Both Annette and Payden were responsible for designing and building their homecoming float. Little did they know that this shared endeavor would be the start of their story together.
Fast forward to September 30th, 2023, Annette and Payden were wed at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Following their nuptials, Mr. & Mrs. Parrish invited their guests to celebrate with them at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek!
In planning her wedding, Annette worked with Haylie Paige Events to bring her vision of timeless elegance infused with vibrant colors to her wedding. Annette and Payden opted for a black-tie affair that radiated warmth and playfulness. The reception was held under a gorgeous transparent tent in the courtyard of the Mansion. One of the standout features of their wedding was the artwork custom painted by Annette’s talented sister-in-law, Emily Mayne. Each piece was a work of art, including illustrations of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, a custom wedding crest, charming pet illustrations, and an intricate rendering of the round window at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. The reception was nothing short of spectacular. The impressive bar was adorned with an array of bright and lively flowers, providing a pop of color that perfectly complemented Annette’s vision. Blue velvet seating arrangements added a touch of opulence, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the evening in style.
It was a beautiful evening in celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Parrish! Congratulations Annette + Payden!
