Before her wedding to Michael Green, we had the pleasure of capturing Avery Jeffcoat’s bridal portraits at Big Cedar Lodge, where her wedding would be held just a few months after this beautiful day. The venue holds a special place in Avery’s heart who has fond memories of past family vacations to Big Cedar. Avery reflected on special memories sharing, “We would have scavenger hunts, s’mores night, family football, late night krispy kreme runs, and so much quality time with one another. It is a place of comfort, rest, and recharge for all of us.” It was fitting to have her bridal portraits captured at the same place that fostered all of these special moments.
For her wedding, Avery wore a strapless gown by Allison Webb called “The Parker”. The gown is in dupioni and has a pleated bodice with a detachable overskirt and hand-crafted bow.
Avery couldn’t have chosen a more gorgeous day for her session, the flowers were in full bloom and unfurled their petals, creating a picture perfect backdrop. The setting sun did its thing, casting a warm glow as Avery smiled on.
We can’t wait to share more from Avery’s wedding weekend coming to the blog soon! Congratulations Mrs. Green!
