Blue Skies and Sunshine in Aspen with the Lorences - John Cain Photography

Nothing but blue skies and sunshine for Meredith and JD’s wedding weekend in Aspen! The pair became Mr. and Mrs. Lorence in a stunning ceremony held atop the mountain at the Aspen wedding deck overlooking the valley below. Aspen trees and evergreens framed the altar that was decorated with all white flowers.

For her wedding day, Meredith wore a beautiful long sleeve Monique Lhullier lace gown. She accented her dress with Manolo Blahnik shoes and a Lily of the Valley bouquet.

Her bridesmaids wore all different variations of blue and green that perfectly complimented her look as well as the scenery.

The sun fell atop of the ridge as Meredith entered the ceremony space arm-in-arm with her father. The aisle was lined with bunches of baby’s breath and white roses. Light filtered in through the evergreen trees and shone on the altar. After being pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Lorence, Meredith and JD recessed down the aisle.

The Lorences entered their reception in an ode to their Louisiana roots by a second line parade. The bride and groom grand marshaled with a trumpeter, saxophonist and drummer leading their handkerchief shaking guests into the party. Meredith debuted an outfit transition from her original dress. The inside was decorated with greenery and trees covering the entryway. Drapery elegantly hung from the ceiling, but the party was signaled over the dancefloor with a disco ball hanging down from above. Later in the evening, Meredith’s dress was transformed into a strapless mini dress to show off her light blue Jordan’s– much needed for a long night spent on the dancefloor. Cowboy hats, glow sticks and glasses were distributed to guests as the energy of the party hit a peak. As celebrations wound down, Meredith and JD spent one final private moment together before the night ended. The Lorences left after sharing a kiss on the gondola. Congratulations Meredith and JD! We had the best time celebrating you in Aspen.
