Beneath the sprawling branches of willow trees and the watchful eyes of modern sculptures, Caroline Smith and Wesley Traylor exchanged their vows in an intimate outdoor ceremonyl. It was a day where contemporary art met classic romance at The Nasher Sculpture Center—a stunning venue fit for Mr. and Traylors’ aesthetic.
Saturday dawned with promise—sunny skies shining bright above. Jess Wegner and her team orchestrated the entire event to perfection. By mid-morning, Caroline and her entourage were at the Crescent, adding the final touches before heading to the venue. Meanwhile, the groom and his men kept it relaxed with a leisurely lunch.
At the Nasher, Garden Gate placed floral arrangements exploding in a variety of pinks, turning the venue into a secret garden, while Inkredible Lighting set the stage for the evening’s brilliance. By the time Caroline donned her dress, the scene was set.
Caroline and Wesley’s first look was an intimate peek before the whirlwind. As they stood under the canopy of trees was a pause on the precipice of forever.
As the ceremony gave way to celebration, the evening slipped into a rhythm of eating, dancing, and merry-making. Wolfgang Puck’s catering was a taste of delight, ensuring each bite was as sumptuous as the views. The Manhattan band, with their beats, ensured the dance floor was never empty.
Caroline and Wesley’s wedding concluded with a private last dance before the pair made their exit as guests waved streamers in the air. Congratulations to the recently-wed Mr. & Mrs. Traylor!
