Caroline Beecherl and Cody Crews went to middle school and high school together, but did not become friends until college. Their older brothers were best friends so Caroline and Cody began getting to know each other more and more as the years went on. After college, the two ended up in Houston and began dating shortly after. Once engaged, they decided to marry at Church of the Incarnation and celebrate with their friends and family at the Dallas Country Club and enlisted Parks Cities Events to coordinate the affair.
Caroline wore a timeless Sareh Nouri bridal gown and carried a lily of the valley bouquet (two of our favorite things!) The ceremony remained intimate, but family and friends lined up outside the church doors to toss rose petals and cheer on the newly minted Crews’. Bagpipes even played as the couple made their church exit—a musical nod to the bride’s family’s Scottish background.
At the Dallas Country Club, Jackson Durham set beautiful interior elements and Southern touches beyond just floral. Caroline was an equestrian for 15 years so the wedding aesthetic felt very Town & Country. Bar fronts resembled chic Derby stables and Jordan Kahn Orchestra performed in front of a sophisticated, pastoral scene—that is, they performed until a surprise band took over the stage in overalls and cowboy hats! Cody was surprised by his bride with Shane Smith and The Saints, one of his favorite bands which closed out the evening with all his favorite songs.
The couple exited the DCC doors under large floral arches, tossed with petals, and whisked away in a vintage convertible as sparklers lined their drive out. It was a night to always remember!
