Because one Sam Katigan just wasn’t enough!
Sam Twardowski married Sam Katigan on August 7th in Fort Worth, Texas. Sam and Sam kicked off the celebration of their marriage as any proper Texans would, with a rehearsal dinner boasting a dress code along the lines of cowboy chic. Guests arrived raring to celebrate in their boots and cowboy hats, a perfect commencement of the festivities ahead.
Rivercrest looked exquisite with blooms aplenty, and Sam’s Reem Acra dress was undoubtedly the show-stopper of the night. Sam wore a strapless ball gown with a robust train and rich floral silk brocade. Her full skirt added a powerful stroke of drama to this elegant evening. The bride’s cake was made to mimic the raised floral pattern of Sam’s silk brocade dress, and was executed to perfection. The groom’s cake was made as a replica of a ski mountain as a nod to Sam’s love of Vail, CO.
Sam and Sam are known affectionately as “Sam Squared” to their loved ones, and made sure to acknowledge that with a photo booth displaying their nickname atop a boxwood backdrop. They worked with Caroline Fair of Caroline Events to ensure that every last detail was reflective of their style and was unmistakably theirs. The ballroom at Rivercrest was as distinguished as ever with polished, classic white flowers and gold accents. Bella Flora also rendered Sam and Sam’s wedding monogram out of bright white blooms, and hung it right above the center landing of Rivercrest’s entryway staircase surrounded by greenery.
This wedding day was picturesque right from the get, and chasing the bride and groom around on golf carts during sunset portraits was definitely an added bonus. Sam and Sam, thank you for letting us capture these beautiful moments and memories for you!
