Every love story has its own unique journey, and Clara and Blake’s story is a blend of timing and reconnection. They first met during their time at Texas A&M University. They met at the Aggie Men’s Club Formal when Clara was a freshman and Blake a sophomore. Clara found Blake charming and asked him to her Chi Omega date party in the Spring of 2020. However, the onset of COVID-19 meant their plans had to be postponed indefinitely.
Three years later, they reconnected and attended another Chi Omega event in Spring 2022, just before Blake’s graduation. From that point on, they have been inseparable.
For their session at Prather, Clara and Blake chose their outfits with care. Blake’s classic navy suit jacket from Suit Supply, paired with Tecovas pants and shoes, gave him a polished look. Clara’s blue and white dress from Tuckernuck, by Pink City Prints, had a special connection for her. She discovered that the model wearing the dress online was also named Clara, which made it “have to buy” dress. Her second outfit, a pink and navy dress from Farm Rio, added a contrast to the first dress with a pop of bold color.
Initially, Clara and Blake had to reschedule their engagement session due to rain. When they finally had their session the following week, the weather was perfect. Clara, who is detail-oriented, found the wait worthwhile.
As a wedding planner in Dallas, Clara is used to being behind the scenes. Being in front of the camera was a new experience, but Matt made the experience easy and enjoyable. Clara and Blake felt comfortable and guided, resulting in a relaxed and fun session.
As we look ahead, we excitedly await the future Hardys’ wedding day!
