As soon as the plane’s wheels kissed the tarmac, the weekend kicked off with a bang – a welcome fiesta that was all about bold colors and even bolder spirits. Think papel picado fluttering like vibrant butterflies against a backdrop of a sky that couldn’t decide if it wanted to be cotton-candy pink or a moody blue. The Esperanza Resort was like a canvas splashed with the hues of bold colors.
Everywhere you looked, there were details that made you feel like you’d stepped into a Frida Kahlo daydream. And the scents! Oh, the air was heavy with the aroma of sizzling carne asada and the salty kiss of the sea.
