Griffin and Stephen invited their closest friends and family to witness their vows to each other at River Crest Country Club in front of a sprawling twisted floral arch incorporating every shade of pink. Griffin wore a romantic Mira Zwillinger gown showcasing appliques in a romantic floral motif perfectly accenting the decorated aisle she and her father walked down to meet Stephen at the altar.
Ahead of the ceremony, Griffin got dressed with her bridesmaids at her parent’s home which is the same color as the floral inspiration inside River Crest Country Club—pink! The grand staircase served as the perfect dramatic ascent for Griffin to walk down and see Stephen for the first time wedding day. We floated around the home’s interiors and grounds for portraits before heading to the country club for the ceremony.
Friends and family then joined the newlyweds in the River Crest ballroom for an extravagant reception. They worked with Melanie Tatum Events and Rusty Glenn Designs to transform the space into a an overflowing, romantic soirée with every detail considered. Crystal candelabras sat on each table providing ambient candlelight and bright peonies, garden roses, and hydrangeas filled the space. The pièce de résistance, however, was the towering bridal confection placed in front of the twisted floral arch from the ceremony.
Taylor Pace Orchestra kept revelers on the dance floor throughout the celebration with a finale of pink and gold confetti which shot off around the stage. As the evening came to a close, Mr, and Mrs. West exited the club surrounded by sparklers hopping into a vintage car. Not to be forgotten—they drove off with Tiff’s Treats (the bride’s favorite) in hand!
