Stephanie Church and George Zoys serendipitously met while waiting for separate friends at a restaurant. “Once I found out he was Greek and he knew I was Italian, the rest was history!” Stephanie told us. When the two became engaged, each of their family’s heritage became an important influence on their wedding day. Many details were added to the reception decor in honor of loved, family members like cocktail hour in honor of late relatives and portraits of their grandparents cutting their own wedding cake set next to Stephanie and George’s wedding cake.
The country club was set full of lush dahlias, hydrangeas, and fresh citrus to bring in the Mediterranean flare and the passed hors d’oeuvres were Greek and Italian, naturally. Beyond just a wedding band, Stephanie and George also had a Greek band perform to really bring their guests into the family experience! The evening was a perfect blend of beauty and culture to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Zoys!
Today we wish them the happiest one year anniversary—here’s to many more!
