While earning her masters degree at SMU, Anne Marie worked and worked out at Equinox where she had her meet cute with her now husband Corbin who was all the more motivated to exercise when he knew Anne Marie would be behind the front desk.
They married on February 27, 2021 at SMU’s Perkins Chapel. Would you believe— the pastor who married her parents also officiated Anne Marie & Corbin’s wedding?! Flanking either side of the bride and groom, officiant, and the wedding party were beautifully asymmetrical winter white arrangements of hydrangea, roses, and magnolia leaves atop glass Paris-vases.
Anne Marie wore a form fitting Mira Zwillinger gown from Neiman Marcus with intricate leaf appliqué and a veil that mirrored this delicate detail. Her look reflected the crisp elegance of the entire wedding. Before Anne Marie made her way to Corbin, the sweetest flower girls wearing blue satin sashes dusted the aisle with rose petals.
After the couple sealed their “I do” with a kiss, their standard poodle “Goofy” made an appearance outside the chapel for a photo-op, and the newlyweds joined their guests at Howell and Dragon for the reception. All things chinoiserie and blue and white were a source of the couple’s inspiration. From the invitation to the escort cards and bridesmaids’ dresses, ginger jars had their place at every table. It’s no secret we’re lovers of blue and white, which created a bright and clean aesthetic for this winter wedding. Even the cake was chinoiserie inspired with its white and blue flower touches!
A seated dinner followed by dancing ensued until a sea of silver streamers greeted Anne Marie and Corbin as they exited their party and were whisked away into the night. They are eagerly awaiting their honeymoon to Hawaii which is due to take place in July! We are so grateful to have been a part of their day and couldn’t be happier that the couple fell in #loveatfirstlight!
