Under a tent at Arlington Hall, Mason and Miles treated guests to a whimsical garden party. The Becks chose their venue because of their love for the outdoors. “We looked at a couple different venues that could potentially provide that outside, open air feel. Arlington Hall is such a beautiful and unique place where you can get outdoor, indoor or both! There are also so many ways to utilize the space, it kinda felt like a blank canvas to us and felt like a place we could make our own, which is what we loved.”
Coincidentally, the Beck’s wedding day took place on Earth day. The entire tent was transformed with hanging vines, garlands of flowers and an abundance of hydrangeas courtesy of Branching Out Events. Crystal chandeliers were nestled amongst the greenery overhead, while ginormous white rose arrangements stood in tall glass vases. “The entire Branching out team made all my floral dreams come true. I am still speechless to this day about it.”
Jess Wegner Events worked diligently to execute the ideas and inspiration that Mason and Miles dreamed of. “I loved that Miles and I planned this together. He was at the invitation meetings, the floral meetings and the linens. We made this day truly ours, everything from the ceremony details, reception and after party details was what we both planned together. Our vision however, could not have been brought to life without my incredible mother and the amazing Jess Wegner. It was so cool to look at our wedding and think “wow this is our wedding this is what we planned for over a year, together.”’ Mason and Miles’ reaction to seeing their vision come to life was a look of pure satisfaction and joy!
A special full circle moment from the reception was Mason’s father’s speech. Earlier that morning, they played basketball as a nod to the movie Father of the Bride. “During his speech he told everyone about us shooting hoops that morning and then surprised me with a basketball that my family and wedding party had all signed. It was the coolest way to highlight what has always been my dad and I’s thing.”
Looking back on her wedding day, Mason shared “There is something to be said about having all your favorite people in the same room. I realized that there will never be another event where all these same people are in the same room again. We had the best time dancing the night away with everyone.”
