I believe they call this “nesting”, but in digital form. As we continue to settle in our W. Lovers Lane studio, we will share with you our design process room-by-room. From beginning to end, Melissa of Melissa Lacy Design captured our aesthetic, gathered on-brand inspiration, and designed each and every room with flawless finesse.
Right as you’re welcomed into John Cain Photography, the beautifully-layered meeting room offers a relaxing escape and first impression—your “first look” with us, if you will. The paneled walls and mirrored mantle provide depth while the variety of textures and upholstery throughout the room provide a sense of home. The studio’s color story begins on the octagonal entry table, draped in Jasper Malmaison Fontaine, and moves through each and every accent. After seeing Tory Burch’s Manhattan residence, a sophisticated green velvet couch became a must to complete the room. From the velvet couch, you get a glimpse into our Sister Parish-adorned sitting room, the trellised-viewing room, and the blue-paneled mouse hole.
We hope we have the opportunity to chat with you (Molly included), right here, in this room sometime soon!
