Dallas knows how to Christmas—garlands wrap columns and door frames, wreaths with classic red bows sit center in every window, and trees light every street with thousands of twinkling lights. On December 16, 2017 Hope Ogden and Caleb Robinson allowed the season’s decor to heavily influence their wedding aesthetic in a big way. Beginning at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, hundreds of potted red poinsettias lay at the altar, emphasizing the color of the season which also lined the wedding aisle. At the altar, surrounded by friends, family, and an abundance of red floral, Hope and Caleb said classic wedding vows which led to ‘I do’.
They celebrated their nuptials at a Christmas tree-adorned Brook Hollow Country Club. They kept a classic red, green, and gold palette for the winter celebration—a gold monogram lay center of a white dance floor with a gold-gilded stage front, orchids and hydrangeas bedecked the crystal chandelier, and twinkling garland hung at the ballroom entrances. There was no shortage of Christmas inspiration! As Hope said to D Weddings about husband Caleb, “If he had it his way, we would have left the reception in Santa suits.”
Hope tossed on a fur stole and exited Brook Hollow with Caleb to a long line of sparklers and a vintage Rolls Royce ready to whisk the couple away—but not before a timeless final snapshot of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson!
