Morgan Kemendo and Jake Oliver met in high school and have spent every day together ever since! They even journeyed to the University of Texas at Austin together where Jake played football. The couple included many touches of UT throughout their wedding as a nod to their alma mater including a grooms cake decorated like a Longhorn football helmet!
Morgan dreamt of a classy, “Springy” affair and enlisted wedding planner Barbara Anderson to bring this vision to life. As the bride got ready for her special day, she slipped on her Monique Lhuillier dress which included a piece of lace from her mother’s dress—a special connection she commemorated as her “something old” in addition to the “borrowed” handkerchief from her mother which looked beautiful tied around her bouquet. The newly minted couple said “I do” in front of their dearest family and friends at Highland Park United Methodist Church, where Morgan’s parents also got married.
Something Pretty Floral transformed the Belo Mansion into a romantic colorful evening with vibrant blooms adorning every aspect of the venue for the reception. On each table was calligraphed scripture that the couple holds close to their hearts. As the night began, the newlyweds and their guests sipped on their signature cocktails (Ranch Water and Moscow Mules) and danced the night away! The couple exited the reception in a vintage Bentley and bid their loved ones adieu as they drove off into the night and lived #happilyeveroliver!
