Mr. and Mrs. Baird in San Antonio

Holly and Luke met in seventh grade in their hometown of Boerne, Texas. “I can’t recall the “first time” or the moment we were introduced but life without each other is pretty hard to remember. We grew up together and share the same hometown, best friends, and middle school-high school memories!” 

Luke proposed to Holly while they were on a trip in Europe in September of 2021. While they were visiting the villas of Lake Como, he popped the question under a gazebo by the water’s edge. 

Flash forward to a year later, and Holly and Luke were exchanging ‘I do”s at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, Texas. As a surprise to Holly and Luke, their Reverend asked their closest friends and family to write down their favorite thing about their relationship. “During the ceremony, he had us turn around and face our guests while he read people’s responses. It was such a special surprise! I’ll cherish that memory forever.”

Holly and Luke’s wedding day was traditional and modern. “We focused on making all of the details a traditional black and white”. Black bridesmaids dresses, architectural floral arrangements and a sleek wedding cake were all details that contributed to their theme. The reception was held at the St. Anthony Hotel. Inside the ballroom, tables were lined with grand flower arrangements and candelabras. For the reception, Holly changed into a white long-sleeve mini dress with textured details from Retrofête and a pair of statement boots in emerald green.

Family and friends spent the evening celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Baird on the dance floor. A shower of confetti rained over the crowd, signaling the end of an epic party. A mariachi band led the newlyweds through a tunnel of their guests shaking maracas. Congratulations to the Bairds!
