On February 19, 2022, Caitlin and Brett were married at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas. Her morning was spent getting ready in the The Mr. and Mrs. Perry Suite with her bridesmaids. Caitlin wore white silk pajamas from the Antonio Melani Collection while having her hair and makeup done by Etoilly Artistry.
For her wedding, Caitlin wore a breathtaking gown designed by Mira Zwillinger. Caitlin’s floral embroidered gown was designed in a luxurious soft blush with a strapless sweetheart neckline, voluminous skirt and rich floral train. Caitlin paired her gown with a custom floral Mira Zwillinger long sleeve bolero. To complete her bridal look, Caitlin wore a European cathedral length veil with cascading archival Italian lace designed by Monvieve of Milan.
The ceremony took place at the Mansion’s garden. Flowers were placed at the basin of the fountain with water falling around them. The pillars of the mansion were wrapped in greenery and neutral colored flowers. Flowers for the weekend were designed by Botanical No. 9.
Reception festivities were held inside a transparent tent in the Sunken Gardens. The pathway to the tent was aglow with twinkling lights on the hedges. Out on the grass were candles in the shape of a C and B. Inside, chandeliers hung from the ceiling and candles were lit on every table. Sarah and Crystal from Todd Events beautifully executed Caitlin’s vision for her wedding day. Pale oranges, neutrals and gold decorated the interior of the tent. Guests located their table numbers by grabbing the rose with their name on it. Caitlin and Brett gave their out of state guests a taste of Texas with their custom Blue Bell ice cream cart.
The seven tier cake, by Iced Cakes Austin, was wrapped in fresh flowers and gold painted leaves. Beautiful floral piping covered the top tiers.
After dinner, guests gathered inside for dancing. Caitlin and Brett’s first dance was to “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur. Caitlin debuted her second outfit of the night, a white mini dress covered in feathers. She showed off the cutest crystal pumps from Mach & Mach. For a late night snack, guests were served WhataBurger honey butter chicken biscuits and breakfast tacos. A custom neon sign reading “WhataWedding” hung above the snack station.
The night wrapped up with Caitlin and Brett hopping on the back of a red Triumph. “The exit car we used was the exact same make, model, and color as a car my Dad had when I was little, a red Triumph TR-3. There is even a picture of me as a little girl sitting in it, so that was a really sweet nostalgic nod.” Silver sparklers went off as the new Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin drove off.
Cheers to you, Caitlin and Brett!
