We had the pleasure of photographing Mary and Nadiv’s wedding at Pleasantdale Château in West Orange, New Jersey. On October eighth, Mary spent the morning getting her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids while sipping on champagne. Once ready, Mary stepped into her Lela Rose gown with the help of her mother and two sisters. It was a stunning, sleek and chic off the shoulder dress that she paired with Alexandre Birman shoes.
The venue has a rich history within the entertainment industry. The grounds of Pleasantdale Château have been featured in major projects such as Vanity Fair, The Sopranos and Law & Order amongst many others. This iconic New Jersey location was the perfect place for Mary and Nadiv to say “I do”.
An altar set under a grand floral arch by the water welcomed guests into the ceremony space. Petals and lanterns lined the aisle and strings played as Mary walked toward Nadiv with her father. The sunset twinkled on the pond as Mary and Nadiv exchanged vows, becoming husband and wife!
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to an assortment of pasta, nigiri and cocktails at the Château. The dramatic drapery of the ballroom was complemented by the elegant green and white floral arch standing above the cake. A highlight of the evening was the decadent menu of a variety of bites. The desserts just kept coming! Cookies, parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries, cannolis and more.
It was a truly spectacular evening celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Rahman! Cheers to you!
