Rachel and Billy’s wedding was colorful and bright, thanks to her capable vendors and planning support from their moms. Judy from Park City events led the team while Garden Gate Floral transformed the Hotel Crescent Court into an explosion of fragrant fuchsia and orange.
Vivid bridesmaid gowns, ornate orange vases, and bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, peonies, and orchids brought the color spray into the Highland Park United Methodist Church for the ceremony. Rachel walked down the aisle in a classic bridal gown and hot pink Manolo Blahniks.
“I’m very into color,” Rachel shared, drawing inspiration from a coastal wedding she found online. Billy’s mom, an artist, brought the same palette into a custom designed monogram. She left her signature touch on the invitations, cups, and koozies with her own designs, including the Dallas skyline.
As guests sipped cocktails outside the Hotel Crescent Court, Rachel snuck away into the reception for a peek of the room. “My jaw dropped,” she said when she saw the towering arches and cascading ceiling installation.
A wedding with florals this bold needed a band to match the energy. That’s what Rachel and Billy found in Georgia Bridgewater, who brought the party to new heights. In a chic and flirty Watters dress and platform Jimmy Choos, Rachel took to the dance floor with her groom, family and friends. It was only later that the newlyweds’ moms would admit that neither of them left the dance floor once the music started.
Taking the stage alongside the band, Rachel and Billy serenaded a sea of guests glowing in light-up cowboy hats. “It was the best day of our lives,” Rachel shared.
