It’s been four years since McClain Cavender said “I do’ to Andrew Devine at her family’s ranch in east Texas. The couple’s romantic ranch style swept through all the details that were special to the couple from a ceremony nestled in a clearing surrounded by tall sweeping trees to a reception atop an open air pavilion with panoramic views of the wooded grounds of the ranch.
The couple with the help of DFW Events orchestrated a lovely day that highlighted the gorgeous terrain of the venue. The bride insisted on keeping all the decorations low and reserved to keep the focus on the beautiful scenery that surrounded the event. She achieved a rustic elegance through her design decisions, which fit the setting perfectly. All the details celebrated the beautiful ranch and accented the western style that the couple was trying to emulate. For the ceremony, the guests were escorted to the altar in true ranch style on gator carts.
As the night continued, the couple had eight signature drinks for their guests to enjoy throughout the night. Each drink paid tribute to a family member, which highlighted the couple’s desire to be inclusive of their whole family. The dusty rose hues were an elevated neutral that enhanced the entire setting by giving it a subtle pop of color. Twinkling lights were delicately strung around the reception creating a truly magical atmosphere for the couple to dance and celebrate their newly made promises to each other.
