As the winter weather melts away, we welcome the arrival of warm temperatures and blossoming blooms. Spring is soon to be here, and we couldn’t be more excited for the garden parties soon to take place! Taking advantage of the warmer weather, some brides gravitate to a spring themed soiree with an outdoor reception.
Whether they are tented or held on the grounds of a beautiful venue, each party has its own distinct characteristics and personality. We hope to offer inspiration from garden parties past, three gorgeous expressions of style suited perfectly for the spring season.
The first, a tented reception dressed to perfection in pink and green. This wedding, held at a private residence, incorporated floral patterns and fresh blooms into the decor. Many of the decor elements, including the silver and china, belonged to the mother of the bride.
The second, an outdoor reception at the Argyle in San Antonio, included all sorts of different colors and types of flowers. A special touch to this reception was the custom dance floor that incorporated a pattern inspired by an heirloom chair from the bride’s family.
The third, a reception held under a transparent tent at a private residence. Lovely light blues and verdant green decorated the inside of the tent and archways of greenery framed each entryway.
We can’t wait to see more interpretations of garden parties to come this spring!
