When I think of a spring wedding this one instantly fits the bill. With its primarily pink and purple color story, floral touches everywhere, and bright portraits, Blair and Daniel’s wedding four years ago was the quintessential springtime celebration. Blair’s Ines de Santo dress with its floral applique and dusting of light purple touches exuded an elegance so fitting of the season and her lush bouquet of pink peonies was any bride’s spring bouquet dreams!
The Westin Downtown Dallas housed the couple’s reception with sweeping views of the Dallas skyline. As a nod to the groom’s Louisianan up-bringing, the couple had a traditional New Orleans cake pull for their guests to take part in! With this tradition, ribbons are inserted all around the cake and all together you pull your assigned ribbon out. Each ribbon has a little charm tied to the end which symbolizes something unique to whoever pulls out that specific charm. A couple charms that Blair and Daniel included were a steamboat meaning you will have a lifetime of memories and a fleur-de-lys saying you have a lifetime of prosperity.
The bride and groom danced the night away with their guests before exiting their celebration through a sea of sparklers. Yesterday the couple celebrated their four year anniversary! We hope y’all had the best day! Here’s to many more!
