During their senior year of high school, Allison and Cole met on a visit to the University of Texas. “I don’t remember meeting him, but we have a picture together so we must have!” jokes the bride. The couple eventually connected again during their freshman year of college, which is where their story really began.
The bride and groom were married at Highland Park United Methodist Church in an intimate ceremony that highlighted the couple’s love and devotion to one another. Allison wore a beautiful Mira Zwillinger gown from Neiman Marcus Bridal to say “I do” to Cole. Her bouquet was wrapped with a piece of her mother’s dress – one of our favorite “something old” tokens. This special piece had both of their initials monogrammed on it as something blue, and they will one day monogram Allison’s sister’s initials on it as well when she gets married.
The couple’s Dallas Country Club affair was created with the help of Kirstin Godat to be a warm sophisticated soirée full of lovely soft colors. A gospel choir entered ahead of Allison and Cole ushering in the party. The space was furnished with an alluring mix of modern yet classic styles, and garnished with the floral arrangements crafted by the Garden Gate.
As the night went on, fun late night snacks were passed around for the guests to enjoy. The couple and their guests were served late night What-a-Bailey snacks before eventually being carted off in a pedicab driven by Allison’s brother. We wish Allison and Cole a lifetime of happiness and are thrilled for the new Mr. and Mrs. Bailey!
