High school sweethearts Emma Bowden and Howard Armistead wed August 1, 2020 at Highland Park United Methodist Church and hosted an intimate reception at the Dallas Country Club. The couple spent some of their favorite memories as a couple sipping vodka gimlets on the DCC patio so the country club was the perfect space for the couple to finally celebrate their nuptials!
Emma and Howard’s wedding day was classic and colorful. Emma wore a timeless ballgown and carried a bouquet of lily of the valley (our favorite!) which paired perfectly with the pink peonies her bridesmaids carried. The soon-to-be newlyweds saw each other for the first time in the wedding aisle at HPUMC. Their ceremony reflected a heavenly commitment they made to one another and it was a joyful ‘I do’!
Kirstin Rose Events worked with Garden Gate to fill the church and the DCC with colorful blooms accenting the spirit of the couple and the interiors of the space. At a long table in front of the fire place, Emma and Howard were toasted by their closest loved ones and ate and drank surrounded by live music and absolute beauty set at the table. The new Mr. and Mrs. Armistead embraced each and every moment and detail at their wedding before their exit out of a vintage convertible.
We wish them a lifetime of happiness as they have begun a new life together!
