On March 13 at the Clubs at Houston Oaks, Megan Moreno married William McNair under a flower arch adorned with hydrangeas and roses. The couple met their freshman year of high school and remained best friends throughout their time at school. Senior year brought them together as a couple until they briefly parted ways as they began college. On their first Christmas break home they picked up right where they left off and have been dating ever since.
The couple envisioned a day that felt southern and traditional and enlisted the help of Piper Hatfield of Piper and Muse to execute their vision. Megan’s grandmother is a florist and designed all the floral arrangements for her day, keeping their color story of blushes, whites, and splashes of gold romantic with every arrangement. Of note, hundreds of orchids were attached by hand onto the individual branches that collectively assembled blossoming trees anchoring their reception decor.
There was a warmth in the tent as Megan and William made their way to their monogrammed dance floor for their first dance. After dinner, the newlyweds cut their exquisite cake created by Cakes by Gina to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. The couple’s dog Luke was not forgotten in the celebration as he made his way into post-ceremony portraits and onto the cocktail napkins. As the couple exited their celebration it was not yet a goodbye for them as they had one last moment to celebrate their weekend at a brunch hosted in their honor the following morning.
