Just outside St. Louis, MO lies a sprawling escape of green pastures and pebble paths leading to a quintessential American farm house offering restoration to miniature horses. This place is called R&R Ranch, and this spring, it provided the perfect wedding destination for Belle Rolfe and Mason Oberg. As daughter of the founder of R&R Ranch, Belle could not imagine spending the ‘best day of her life’ anywhere besides home—the place she and her family have poured out so much love on the rescue horses that reside at the stables. Martha, a dwarf horse and newest R&R Ranch mini, strutted down the floral lined wedding aisle making way for the bride—a miraculous and joyous fete for the horse!
From the ‘first look’ on the bridge to the tented reception in the front lawn, every hour of this wedding day had significance for the family. The decor beautifully fused with it’s surrounding—blue and white floral mimicking the hydrangea bushes, a white open tent mirroring the white farm house with wrap around porch, and a floral-lined wedding aisle blooming off the lush grass. Inside the tent, the father of the bride made a toast that brought a tear to both bride and groom and reminded us the sentiment of the affair. Wedding day came to a close under the open Missouri night sky as the bride and groom whisked away in a blue (of course) vintage Cadillac.
