Brenna and Garrett’s wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and timeless elegance. What began as an unexpected friendship while playing intramural softball, soon turned into the beginning of their forever. Garrett proposed at one of their favorite spots, Guadalupe River State Park, making the place that held countless memories even more meaningful.
With only five and a half months to plan, Brenna and Garrett chose to marry in Dallas, celebrating their ceremony at their church and hosting a reception at Dallas Country Club. The date aligned perfectly, allowing Garrett’s medical school friends to attend before moving across the country for residency programs. Brenna envisioned a clean, classic aesthetic with all-white florals anchored by fresh green accents: a vision inspired by the recent remodel of her family home.
Her gown, chosen with refreshing decisiveness, featured a fitted silhouette with a bolero and intricate leaf details, paired with a veil that seemed as if it was made for her dress. Bridesmaids wore muted sage dresses, a subtle and elegant nod to Brenna’s love of soft, natural tones. Sentimental touches filled the day: Brenna carried a ribbon embroidered with her new monogram, part of a cherished tradition among her college friends, and toasted with the same Waterford flutes her parents and sister had used at their weddings. Garrett’s family added their own history through a silver German wedding goblet, used for generations.
Every detail felt intentional, but it was the joy that stood out most. From a sunlit cocktail hour, to their last dance alone in the quiet glow of the reception, Brenna and Garrett soaked in every moment. It was a day defined not only by timeless beauty, but by the warmth of their families, the laughter of lifelong friends, and the sweet beginning of their next chapter together.
