Laura Catherine and John began their wedding weekend in Scotland with a rehearsal dinner that beautifully blended Texas tradition, personal style, and the excitement of the days ahead.
The Davidson family was clad in their family tartan print for the festivities; from suits to shawls it was the perfect homage to their heritage to kick off the wedding weekend. Laura Catherine’s look in particular was as meaningful as it was elegant. She paired John’s grandmother’s fabulous diamond necklace, a treasured family heirloom that sparkled with history, with a gorgeous pair of purple Manolo Blahniks.
The couple also made a thoughtful choice ahead of the wedding day, opting to take pre-wedding portraits to ensure they had perfect shots regardless of the famously unpredictable Scottish weather. This decision allowed them to feel relaxed and fully present during their wedding, knowing their portraits were already captured.
The rehearsal dinner was also filled with wonderful surprises. Guests sipped champagne as they read a customized British tabloid “The Plot” with all the details and “hot goss” on the Fort Worth locals nuptials. After dinner a performance from the “Red Hot Chili Pipers” had the room clapping and cheering along!
It was an evening filled with warm laughter, the clinking of glasses, and the joy of bringing their closest friends and family together in such a meaningful place. The rehearsal dinner set the tone for the weekend: a celebration of love, family, and intention in every detail.
